The Hudson Square BID invited COMMON GROUND ARTS to curate and produce the inaugural Hudson Square Canvas, an outdoor exhibition of artworks commissioned for multiple properties along Varick Street in New York City. The project’s objective was to present inviting artworks in a challenging area of the district that encouraged pedestrians to enjoy the streetscape and reflect the creativity of the industries that call Hudson Square home.
